The corer is designed for taking samples in sandy sediment. The corer body is manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel and the surface is electropolished. The corer tube is manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel and in the mouth a carver (nose piece) is mounted. At the inside there is an orange peel closing system (core catcher) to prevent the sample from exiting.
